Stored-product pests in Illawarra factories
Weevils, moths and beetles in bulk stores need a different plan to a house spray. What to tell the technician.
Stored-product pests live in the commodity, the seam of a bag and the dust on a ledge. A general household spray will not reach them.
Have a sample of the infested stock, a photo of the packing line, and a note of which SKU is affected. That saves a second visit.
Brad will talk through inspection, hygiene (vacuuming spill) and treatment. Do not fog a food plant without a plan for residue and staff.
